i need to build a zip line for my kids this week so i need some help i own a big lake in the woods, its nice thanks to all i need info some time this week,
 
when i was younger we used the front forks off a tiny bicycle the front rim and handle bars with no tire or tube. basicaly run the rope thoughthe forks so it hangs upsidedown. then tack weld the bars into the neck. also note the rim had the washers with a tab that went into a hole on the forks. just make sure everything is tight tack weld a few spots and your done

Ive built a few and they are real easy.

2 - Anchors - The deeper they screw in the better

steel cable with plastic coating

2 - clamps - for ends of the cable

As far as the handles you can buy prefab handles

Just remember to put a stop about 4 feet from the end if you have this going at an angle IE downhill. My buddy set one up at his house for his brothers kids and for got the stop. Lucky he took the test ride. Right into the tree. Havent laughed that hard in a long time.
