the truck is in the shop getting bodywork done and prepped for paint - one problem - I CAN NOT decide on what color I want the damned thing! Pretty sure I want 2 tone and i'm getting a soft top to match so i need to decide ASAP so i can order the top.... Is there a site with more pics? or a site that I could change the colors on to get an idea? How does one decide on color sceme???

thinking white/tan or white/grey ??
I know it's just preference but i'm stuck here!

help

whats your interior?
well the seats are tan but they can be covered
no carpet yet (still have to order that once I figure out what I want)
Dash is black - but could be painted
Door panels are black - but could be painted
Lower door panels will be diamond plated
ordering a tuffy center console in a color yet to be decided also....
so answer the question concisly - there is no interior color. :)

well, the general guidlines i follow are, a solid sindle stage color will definitely be cheaper. and a solid color will be easier to repair and touchup.

that being said, i'm going metallic. ;) i've had a hankering to do something in a copper ever since i saw project Copperhead.. i've decide to do my entire truck in the copper i have for the 2-tone.. semi black tube bumbers, rims, cap and prolly the Lund visor i'm about to get.. combo of copper and black interior..

prior to that i was thinking a custom solid orange/red..

also keep your bodywork in mind.. lighter colors hide imperfections and scratchs better... and clears will hold up to sunlight better...

yep im in the same boat as you, im not that close to getting it painted but i still have no idea, i have the black dash, grey interior, black rims, when i got it it was factory black, but the paint wash jacked, now its peeling primer, it looks like crap.... anywase, i was thinking either dark blue, or some kind of silver or dark grey??

the colors for today are - white/charcoal grey with blk trim and blk soft top. Of course that may change by the end of the day! I need to figure out what I'm doing b/c it takes 3 weeks to get the top from fastrac and i need to figure out if i need blk or some other color - decisions decisions. I lost sleep for the second night over this stuff!!

my K5 is painted about the same color as Copperhead, i used the GM color, Copperhead is the Ford version.

i have pictures if someone will post them.

you can email em to me thru my profile, i'll post em...

mines actually called convoy gold, a truck fleet color..

The funny thing is your truck is yellow and you are painting it. I most likely will be painting my yellow once the body work is done. By the way who is your paint and body guy?

heres some shots of dodgedude's copper rig...

love it man.... :D

i was originally set on a smooth painted cap the same as the truck like yours.. lately i had been thinking of a semi black to match bumpers, rims, grill, etc... still undecided...

where'd you get your hood?

that copper looks tight i cant wait till i paint mine tangello orange.

im hopeing for next week

woah is it just me or does he not have any shafts in that pic

no i dont even have a transmission in it yet.

the 350 is being held up by a couple of ratcheting straps also.
its being swapped out for a 454.

i have a 465/205 for it, i have to rebuild the $150 Pick n Pull Dana 60 also.
so i basically have $500 or so wasted in a completely fresh Dana 44 w/ crossover steering.

the hood i bought off Ebay, its a restoration type parts house that was located 30 miles from me, and when i bought it, it was only $375.
