How to fit 11.00R16 Michelin XLs on a M1008?

I'm buying a M1008 CUCV this weekend. Will a 4" lift clear 11.00R16's? (38.7x10.9 actual size) Also, when doing a 52" spring conversion using stock shackles and shackle location, but with stock front hangers moved forward, about how much lift will be netted? I've heard between 4 and 5.5 inches.

if you remove/chop lots of sheetmetal, sure.

Depends on a lot of factors... 4-5" is the norm. In any case, I don't think stock shackles/hanger location is going to work for ya unless you are extending your frame.
