One Question, and how is everyone by the way?

How do you get the electric window down on the Tailgate of a Blazer/Suburban 1991 to 1973?

The window is stuck up, and especially we want to get stuff out from the back

Also, I wonder if you can go to Handcrank from Electric

Only one way.

You have to remove the panel on the inside of the gate. Remove the cable from the motor and put a drill motor on it and run it down.

If the cable is bad and won't spin, you have to unbolt the window from the rails.

Sometimes the switch the cuts power to window when the gate is down goes bad too check that .

It's up that is stuck and can't go down

You can climb in the back and remove the panel to gain access to the motor. It's much easier if you don't have the optional interior trim plastic panel. You can actually unbolt the window motor with the gate closed.

But you may not be getting power back there. Check the harness under the truck, especially the rubber connector toward the rear. They are failure prone. There's an UP wire, a DOWN wire, and also an orange power wire that supplies power to the rear key switch in the gate.
