Just looking for ideas to make up an obstacle course on some private property.

What items can be used... as cheap as possible.

So far I have some up with rail road ties.

We have access to heavy equipement.

This is on flat land... so, keep that in mind. There will be mud holes and small hills.

What else can we do?

Rocks, boulders would be great... but not cheap around here. Even hard to find broken concrete as it is usually bought up by the gravel companies in the area real quick.

Thanks for any ideas

some 4x4's with 1'' pipe running between them to make monkey bars
a cargo net if you can find one
a series of 3 foot fences to step over
a 6 foot slick wall to climb
some sort of tubes to crawl through
a 25'' rope to climb would be bad ass

Im just thinkin of stuff i have been through

:haha:

I meant a truck obstacle course.

Don't forget to include some Whoops, gotta have a few of them! As far as tractor tires I don't think he was talking tall skinny tires- Think he was refering to massive freakin heavy equipment tires.- Maybe old monster truck tires.

Here's a pic from Coon Creek OHV park

One from Grayrock obstacle course- big tires, rocks, deep small ditches and creaveses.

We have an excavator at our disposal... so dips, whoops, hills, holes, etc... will all be included. nice little mud holes before each obstacle to make it that much more interesting too. :D

1. Find tree
2. Apply chainsaw :dunno:

Like in Mudstuds first pic.

Perhaps logs would have been a more accurate description.

Yes, logs would be good. We will have the rail road ties also. They dont move around as much as logs do.

Nice pictures! Thanks.

I was meaning tires of all sizes. We have farms around here that use anything from monster truck tires to tall skinny wheat harvesters. So... we will take all we can get. Maybe even make a pit of them.
