Where can I get a tool that will make something like a double flare at the end of steel lines. I need to be able to make the end of my tube so that I can attached a rubber hose onto it. It is lie a lip but then goes back down. This is the part that goes into the carburator. It is a press fit and has a flare. The flare is not the same as a double flare which bends upon its self.

So the tubes should not look like this in the picture. They ends need to go back down.

What you need is a double flaring tool. Most flaring tools come with double (inverted) flare attachments. They are small round pieces that fit into the end of the tube to make that 'bubble' shape as you tightned them. I know Advance sells a whole kit in the AmPro brand, most likely Autozone too. Lisle has the tools too. Just check your local parts store, or maybe even a decent hardware store. Just ask for a flaring tool with an inverted, or bubble flare attachment.

EDIT:

The double flare attachments are the round things on the right side of the picture.
