I bought this radiator and I would like some ideas on how to mount it in the truck in my sig.
I am trying to isolate the radiator from the core support. So when the frame twists it doesn't crack the aluminum radiator.

A guy at work said to use small coil springs with a bolt going through them on the top and bottom of the radiator. I don't know if I like that idea though?

What would you do? What materials could I use?

Thanks

Well if the core support twists it will break your grill and your fenders will be buckeling. Just make brackets so you could put some 1/2 in. rubber between them and the new rad.
Tarey

Anybody else have any ideas?

Do you think I'll have problems if I just do as GNERGY says?

Thanks

Mount it exactly like the copper/brass that's currently in your rig as long as its the same size.

sounds to me like your overthinking this...

no matter how racked the front of the truck gets, it shouldn't matter for the rad.. the frame may get cattywompus, but the rad support should maintain it's integrity in relation to the rad mounting...

anyway, I run a full strip of 1/4" thick neoprene rubber on top and bottom of my aluminum...

I agree and had to quote for the use of cattywompus
The only way the radiator support is going to flex if is you frame ends moved up and down individually
