Don't be scared, If you were brave enough to read all of my last post, this one is much shorter.

I have seen info on how to move every spring end on a K5 except the front hanger for the rear spring. How can I move this forward to accomodate a longer spring (I'd move the rear hanger back too).

I looked at it more closely. It looks like the best way would be to rotate the spring hanger to move the spring eye forward without actually moving the hanger bracket forward much (it is pretty close to the body mount). Does that make sense? Anybody tried it?

I did it on a 77 k5 jimmy, but on those older k5's, the body mount that would be interfering is on a crossmember like on pickups. I just moved the whole thing forward 4" (if you measure, two of the holes on the bracket underneath the frame are 4" apart, makes for easier templating) and run 56's backwards.

You can kind of tell in the picture, it would be more obvious if you compare it to a stock truck. I also used a stock front hanger for the shackle flip. Both are off 1-ton trucks to match my 1ton 14bolt.
