I am getting a 350 from a friend , and was wondering .
If you had $800 To spend on some goodie's for a TBI 350 What you would purchase.
Remember $800 Dollar Limit.
Let me know what you think . Any part's are applicable. Lemme Know.

Vortec heads and an aftermarket intake would probably be right around your budget and would net 40-50 hp probably.

What year is the 350 you're getting?

yeah its out of an 87, 87000 miles

I have a 5" K&N filter and a tall lid for ya... $25
Also have a tornado you can try out real cheap! :haha:

a nice mild cam and roller rockers. i put the edelbrock performer in mine and it really woke it up. pulls strong from 1800-3800 rpm

You will be hard pressed to get Vortec heads to work anywhere near right on a TBI motor for under $800.

Intake, headers, cam, and tune, yes, but Vortec heads REQUIRE tuning, and even tuning yourself is $150+ dollars minimum. Not sure what it costs to send out to have tuned, but Vortec heads, intake, headers, and air cleaner aren't going to cost under $800. At least not acquired legally lol.

I am on the list too for the vortec heads... good for 40-50hp...
I did them on my truck.. sorry i know I dont have tbi....

but got my vortecs for $200
threw a cam in $257 xtreme 4x4
vortec intake $120
gaskets.. dont forget they do add up!!! $100is
that is close to $700 for just that.....
if you can somehow do the vortec heads (budget find), intake and tune.. it may be doable...
