i have an 80 k5, i just put my diy4x shackle flip on(so i could ditch the 4'' rear block), i have a 12'' superlift swamprunner lift kit and 6'' diy shackles and a zero-rate(to move axle forward 1''),should be @ 14'' of lift!(its strickly a mud truck, before i get flamed for so much lift!) i also have a set of 44'' tsl's, but i've ran into a problem, i have no way to raise the truck high enuff to put my springs on! once i get the springs on, i can lift it from under the axles to get the tires on, but can't seem to find a way to lift it enuff to get my springs, zero-rate & shackles on...anyone else ever had this problem, and if so how did you wind up raising the truck to install the lift?

when i need to drop my springs all the way, i usually get big wood blocks, then put the jack stands i have on top of them, im sure you could find a couple pieces of a big tree to use as big blocks if you cant find any actual wood blocks.

I use my backhoe, Id love to help but 20mph top speed I wouldnt get there until july.

EDIT: if you have a tree with a thick strong branch you could hoist it up with a block and tackle then be sure to block it up for safty

me and my dad built some custom jackstand-stands :D. They worked great.
