How To Put On A 52 Inch LED LIGHT BAR On A 1990 V1500 Suburban?

The problem w/ these lights is that they may very well be illegal to have on the road. Most states have strict laws about where lights are allowed to be mounted, where they're aimed and their colors. ANY color except white, amber and red is illegal in all 50 states.

they're illegal here on the street unless they have covers on them.

there is some POS early 80's Subaru station wagon here in town that doesn't have a straight body panel, there's about 15 different colors of paint, and an LED light bar bolted half way up the hood. I will have to try and get a pic next time, its a piece of art.

dose anyone know what brackets will work with a 52 light bar on a 74 chevy truck?

The ones you make with a welder from metal stock at the Home Depot :)

Or the ones that come with the light bar, if you screw into the truck.

I've got a 52' on my silver Dodge, I mounted it on the headache rack.

Really thinking about putting one on the Blazer too, I've got an 70's light rack that came off an old Dodge Monaco police car that mounts to the drip rails I'd put it on.

It this type of bar, actually, It's exactly this bar.
