well thought id ask here for input first....
hooked up my battery jump box onto my winch to get the cable spooled.. didnt last long till it was dead :haha:
used the camaro with jumper cables... and worked good...

now my question is... anyone know how to reverse leads in a winch?
When I used my key remote and pushed IN.. the winch went out.. when i pushed out it went in..... not that that is a big issue as it seems they crossed the leads internally......

also i want to hook wires to do a switch in the cab.... anyone have info on this?

going to email ramsey to see what i can find out....

Don't have the wireing scamatics but one of the vendors "seabass44" sells this.

You should be able to switch the location of the trigger leads to the solenoid.

Say if green wire is on solenoid #1 and black wire on solenoid #2, swap so green is on 2 and black is on 1.

On mine the lower left selonid is pwr in, while the lower right is pwr out. But its a Warn. If you are sure you have the cable wrapped on the drum in the proper direction then you should be able to swap the wire from the power selonid to the direction selonids to change direction. Just be sure you have the cable on the drum properly before you start changing things.
