How difficult is it to remove the front fenders on our trucks? Do the outer fender and inner fender well come apart? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

takes about 20 minutes with no rust involved.

about 8 bolts on the core support, all 1/2 "

1 on lower fire wall, pita sometimes 9/16

1 under hood by cowl...9/16

1 in between door and fender 9/16

I recomemned using a 1/4 drive rachet with a exstension, just opun the door and work through the crack.

do front first, leave 1 bolt finger tight, and remove the top bolt last to keep from hurting paint or the fender while fiddleing with it.

also remove light besel screws, and 1 bolt is at the top front of the core support hiding under the lip, and the lover valence should have a couple of them too.. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

unbolt the hood and have a frind help, do hood, then inner fender then fender /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

not hard at all. just bolts. Which side? there are a bunch of bolts just inside the fender lip that holds the inner fender to outer fender.
