how to remove the dashboard

hello,

in a 86 K10
how are the dashboard is attached to the body ?
how many bolts ? and where are they located ?
what is involved in removing it ?

Do you mean the padded cover or the metal that is under it?

The padded cover is held on by a few screws. Some around the gauge pannel, some under the ledge running accross the bottom, and one on the edge you see when you open the passanger door. The metal underneith is welded along the windshield seem and has a few bolts near the a-pillars.

I removed mine with a sawzall and a hammer!
