Luckily in Michigan, fender laws aren't as strict.

So how do I tell the difference between the 2 types of hubs. When I bought my 14 bolt it came complete with the factory setup but I don't know tje differences. I'm going to look at the 14 bolt bible later today but I figured I'd ask.

Now being that the D70 HD has the larger 4" tubes, how did you set your lift up so front and back were the same height?

Even though the tubes are bigger there's only about 1/4" difference at the spring perch. You figure the axle tubes are roughly 1/2" larger in dia than comparable axles and only the top half of that difference will effect lift height. For me, removing one spring was enough.

Zero rate up front. It isn't perfect but it is close. I expect the future added weight of a winch and the bumper will either make it level or up a tad in the rear.

If you are not in a hurry you can find a 70HD with the correct ratio. Mine came out of a motor home with 5.13's factory.
