how to tell diffrence in engine crossmember size ?

how do you tell the difference from a sbc and bbc/6.2/ls crossmember ?

I have a used one and don't know the specifics on it.

if laying flat like bolted to a frame I have 4 1/4" give or take from flat of side flanges to bottom of tube in the center of pan area.

The easiest way to tell is by the slot for the motor mount bolt. This is the big block one:

I got a fat tab & hole slot = bbc/6.2/ls unit .
