350/700r4/np241 very likely. look in the glove box at the sticker that is hopefully there. it has some useful information on it.

from 305 to 350 read the casting numbers on the block. very easy to do.

Should be a 350/700R4/NP241. The 1989 model NP241 is the ONLY year that used a speedo cable after that the speedo's are electric.

I will say yes, as I'm 99.9% sure, but since I've never owned a K5 newer then an 86, someone else will most likely confirm
