The rear pinion seal was leaking ,took off yoke. Was surprised at how loose the nut was having done one once before that was tight as tight can be. Replaced seal, yoke, and then made sure that nut was good and tight! Well guess what...now I find out that I prolly messed up the bearing load and the crush sleeve.Truck has a vibration it didn't have before. What now?

What gear ratio ? Sometimes another axle is easier .

Although , knock on wood , I have no trouble with an axle built at home . Nate and I did mine in my garage after Moab .

you should be replacing the pinion nut when you do that as well. here is a simple question though. Is the driveshaft balanced? If so, did you index it when you removed it? You may well have screwed up the preload, but its not unheard of for a driveshaft to be installed in the wrong position and cause a vibe.

Look on the bright side , even if you do a little work to the Burb , you wheeled all day yesterday , and drove yourself home :waytogo:

Well, you could go back and do Woodpecker backwards in reverse... That'll undo everything that happened :D :haha:

Just kidding, dude!:wink1:
