Ok so it is snowing bigtime so I stopped wiring...
I have to run a 10g wire from alt to isolator
10g wire from isolator to batteries in the bed
unhook winch leads from drivers side battery and pull them back to the bed and hook them up in parallel in the bed

now when I do all this...
how does one wire a switch inline where I can jump the truck with the batteries in the bed if the front batteries die?
I can just hookup jumpercables under the hood from isolator bat1 to bat2 and would work... but use a marine switch under the hood and do that?

a marine switch will let you mechanically switch from 1 group of batteries to the other, or run both.. if you want an "emergency" battery parellel switch in the cab, you'll need to put a solenoid in to parellel group 1 and 2... you can put both a solenoid and marine switch in to give you more flexibility..
