How do you know when your tie rod ends and steering components need to be replaced? Also how do you ajust your steering wheel?

You replace TRE's when they get slop in them. You need some one in the truck to stear it back & forth while you watch the joints to look for slack.

The steering wheel is centered by the drag-link for fine adjustment. If it a lot, you may have something else out of wack.
