how wide- trailer

More info like?
35's with H2 wheels stock 10 bolt in front- 8 lug swap 14 bolt full float in rear from a 78.

what is the widest measurement of your tires? Then find a trailer that is just an 1" or 2 wider.

My trailer is 82" between the fenders and I have to drive over them. (12" wheels, 14.50" wide tires, SRW D60)

I have a PJ Buggy Hauler. Its 102 wide, with drive over fenders that are 83 inches between them. I can squeeze my truck right through the fenders. Its an 8 Lug 10 bolt front with 37x13.50's on 4.5 inch backspace wheels.

My trailer is about the same width as swettys. I just drive over everytime. Cars can drive through no problem. Anything wider than a 10" tire is too tight.

How wide would I need of a trailer for 87 K5 with 35's?

I would start with what is legal width for a trailer in your state then look at design. It won't help if you build it wider than what is allowed.

102" is the widest allowed here and I agree with Bent, that hurt to say, then look at axle weight and brakes. As we all know overbuilt is just right.
