Hey ya'll. I stumbled across this guys videos on YT last night. He has a 93 T/A with the LT1. He did the distributer mod and swapped in a 411 out of a GM Savanna or Express van. The vans have the 5.7 Vortec, which uses a 4x system. I happen to have one in my garage.

He did a pin out, shown in one of the videos and swapped the computer. In this video he does a basic cal to get the car running. Now, as I understand it this will work with a TBI and TPI as well. I have an Edelbrock TBI -Multiport conversion unit I've had for years. I'm going to get a TPI harness ($295 Larry's Electric) and try this this spring. Had the motor and f.i. unit since '05.

Enjoy the video. Watch the entire series if you have time, I found it very educational. Been discussed a lot here I know, but for me seeing it works better.
