Looking for some info on this place... anyone out here use them before? Did you have a good experience with them? Would you say to go buy from this guy, or part together my own system?

Thanks all!

Re: http://www.customefis.com/

Kewl site.

I prefer Howell fuel injection myself as they use mostly new pieces. I haven't had a problem with my Howell in the last five years.

However, this is quite a bit less expensive, and he does use new GM injectors.

He sounds VERY knowledgeable regarding the FI. If I had to do it over again, I think I would take the chance with his setup because his TBI system is WAY to cheap to pass-up.

Then again, I have found complete used TBI systems starting at $250. But, you will still need to get a chip if you have modified your motor.

He does claim to have a money back guarantee. I would want to know how long he has been providing these FI systems. That would be the deal-breaker. If he has been around for a couple of years, I would feel very confident using his products.

Thanks for the new info. Hadn't heard of this guy, nor do I have heard anything from anyone over at www.thirdgen.org - might want to post the question to them.

That said, sounds like a good setup for a good price. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: http://www.customefis.com/

breaking news!!! The price for the complete BBC kit is $1140 for the std package. That includes the BBC TBI and a few other goodies including the VSS. I was wondering about that... and have been talking with him to see what he has to say. If all goes well, I should have some experience with customefis real soon! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yeah I have exchanged a few e-mails with the guy. I get a good feeling from him, He's a GT grad /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
He really started that site as a help site and to promote his chip buring service. He was getting blasted with bandwidth overages is why he know charges for the tech forum.
People kept begging him for complet systems so he started pull used parts and cleaning them up for resale. He makes his own harnesses so that will also be new. He will also work with you till your happy with it if you can provide him with the down loads off the computer and he does have the software available for that stuff.
I would like to do a review on his product. is why I have contacted him. Make sure you mention your from coloradoK5 and that you know me /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
