Hub and disc question

Anybody have any ideas on how to remove the hub and front disc brake. it seems that from somewhere i have heard that there are some special tools needed to do this. Any ideas? Im asking because front end wheel bearing need greasing or replacment not real sure. I have an 88 1/2 ton with auto's.

any auto part store will have the tool its a big socket with four prongs in the end. It will remove the special nut with 4 grooves in it
