Obviously it shouldn’t be doing that especially with that few miles. Done any off-roading with them or driven on dry pavement with them engaged? Jack up driver’s side with the hubs engaged, lay underneath so you can see the axle shaft and spin the wheel. Shaft should rotate with the wheel. You may need to stick a screwdriver next to the axle u-joint to keep the shaft from spinning and try to spin the tire (to eliminate parasitic drag of the shaft from the equation). If the wheel spins while the shaft is jammed (due to screwdriver) then hub is bad.
