Have you guys ever had this issue? I have tried heat, lube, and prying. The rest of the hub cam off fine but this part is a no go.

i checked that one no clip. This should have came out inside of part of locking hub unit. I almost have it off now but it's still fighting me all the way.

Will it drive back any? If its twisted, then it will be as hard to drive back as forward. But, it there is a burr, or something like that, then it should slide back enough for you to see what is holding it and maybe grind it off.

Are you sure you removed the lock ring and or nut?

I've seen that happen when there are burrs on the splines where the clip goes, if you file down the spline area it should come off relatively easy.

holy crap that sucked! Tons of burs! It took some gentle filing and a caressing touch of a gear puller. Main problem was from mud in the hubs. Almost no lube to the grease at all. Theres a good lesson here remember the history of your parts! I totally forgot i picked up these axles from a hardcore mud bogger. I should have seen this coming. Good news is looks like the axle shaft can be saved and already ordered a new set of warn hubs so were good there.

Glad I could help.
