Ive removed the spicer hubs from a D44 ,the
big spring etc, trying to get them back onto a 10 bolt, but having a hard time.so far,I can get everything on including the big 3 inch holder ring, everything seems ok exept the ring with the eyelets.its like, ALMOST enough room but the other parts wont go back on the shaft far enough to get the last ring with the eyelet on. suggestions?

If I am reading this right, take something and pull out on the shaft. The clip keeps it from moving back inside the spindle and makes the seal on the back side tight.
Its just slid back in.

Or you can reach around on the back side and push it out.

The shaft only sticks out a small amount.the shaft either needs to come OUT more, or the locking part needs to go IN .looks like theres not much ofthe shaft sticking out enough to grab onto....to pull the sucker .

Reach from the back of the knuckle and grab the shaft and push it out.

True I just find it easier to push on the pry bar while I assemble with the other hand.

I knew that was your angle and was going to say something about it, but I wanted the OP to know it doesn't take too much force or leverage to push it out.

Yep

It worked great, simply pushing on the axle.did the trick, I got one side done, but removed the hub on donor axle only to notice the ears on the 2nd just FELL out. Broke to hell ,Gotta love it:waytogo:
