Hey guys i need help havent been on in a long time and blazer has just been sitting. I got a new front end to match the 3.73 rear and a 2.5 inch lift kit for free:laugh::laugh:. Now the problems

1. I cannot get the eye bolts out of the springs.

2. I cannot get the hubs out of the axle.

Here is some pics. of the problems. Thanks in advance.

there is a large snap ring in the hub. its in between the wheel hub body and the locking hub thing there with the threaded holes in it. push the locking hub in and poke around in there with a pick of some sort. youll find it. then get that ring out and thread in some screws to the locking hub body and pull it out.

for the springs, shoot some PB blaster or some penetrant oil in there and let it sit and always be saturated. i bet the bolts are stuck to the sleeve in the bushing.
couple whacks with a big hammer ought to do it.

i had to cut my bolts off the leaf, ran a small thin blade on my grinder and got in between the leaf and mount. As stated above the bolt has rusted itself to the inner sleeve. PB blaster didnt penetrate that deep on mine.

Heres a pic of the lock ring that holds the hub in its only pulled halfway out.
