basically the enginers design theese trucks to be bomb proof...they have a turrett on top and a land mine setter on the front (neither in pics here) and they go out and make sure if they run over a land mine they will survive...well the tan axles broke like a tig so they are replacing them with the larger ones..also the spring hangers broke so they are making them out of 1 1/2 steel and the leaves have been increased...the reason there is 2 sttering arms i cause they are modifing theese trucks to run dual steering boxes...i have some more pics here ya go

Take a pic of that thing with a 6' tall guy beside it so we can get an idea of its size.

Post pics of you guys 'wheeling it. Maybe some shots running over some Super Dutys, too.

I'll look for the writeup for putting those axles, wheels and tires under a K5.

Very cool. The jack stands look a bit precarious given the vehicle weight/mass though.

thats funny i stopped by the shop today and they have the whole front end back together and the front axle under it...its got huge 1 1/2 steel for spring plates unfortunatley i didnt have my camera...they started it while i was there after they put about 12 gallons of antifreeze/water mix in it
