Wow...lots of opinions here. Of course I have to add my $0.02 as well. I had done minor differential work before like installing a Detroit in a FF14, a lockrite in a D60, inner axle seals and such. Installing the 5.13s and Detroit into my D60 was my first gearing venture. Granted, I borrowed the necessary tools, but I believe with patience and a few necessary tools the skilled novice can do it properly. I can say after running mine for a couple years now that I did a fine job.
