I just got a set of hummer 12-bolts that I am currently sandblasting. 3 of the 4 rims do not have the valve stems in them. These rims use the funny valve stems like the picture below.

The odd balls do not use a round hole just a little slot. The only place I found them is a 'Hummer' store and they want $36 each! Thats stupid.

Has anyone found a cheap (reasonable) source for these? Or should I just drill them out and use TR412 valve stems?

I was wondering the same thing for the ones I just got. I have 3 rims out of 5 that need them.:D

TR412 valve stems are less than a inch long and made of rubber. THey are mainly use in ATV wheels. I think they would work well, if I can not find the mil spec ones cheap.

I gave up on the Mil-spec valve stems, way too pricey. I bought a bag of TR412 valve stems off ebay. I had to get 100 but they were less than 1 mil-spec valve stem. I will use a 1/2" stepped drill bit and bore a new hole and use these.

22mm length

If one goes bad I have a 'few' spare.;)
