So I'm in love with the re-centered hummer wheels and have spent hours researching but still have tons of questions so please help if you can.
All references refer to something like the posted picture.
Ideally i would like 15x10" re-centered 12bolt hummer rims but as they don't make them i can settle with 16.5. Which brings me to my first question. I was told that if you run big tires you get sidewall flex. As i will run nothing bigger than 44, most of the time 40's is this an issue and is the 15" to 16.5" rim that big of a difference. (I know they make 15" double deadlocks but nothing i have seen that look like the rims below.)
Second Question is i run tires that either need a 10" or 12" wide rim. I can see maybe mounting the 10" on the 8.75" wide rim but the 12" seem a little to far off. Also if you own 12 bolt hummer rims please post the actual rim width it is listed differently everywhere. Is it possible the widen the rims at all. Like putting longer studs in and a spacer? I have never seen the rims in person.
Lastly how hard is it to recenter them yourself and more importantly where to i find them?
