After the not-so-warm response from another site, I'll ask it here. Does anyone know how makes the axles for the Humvee's?

Or do you mean the portal gear boxes on the ends?

the center mounted differentials use AMC model 20 internals the shafts and geared hubs are unique to the HMMWV
I know there are several types of cv shafts but I've heard one of them is the same as a ford taurus.

Those cv's would be stronger in the hummer because of the portal hubs gear reduction.

Methinks you're barking up the wrong tree if you're after heavy duty drivetrain stuff -- look to Rockwell axles, f'rinstance.
