I am trying to sell some wheels and need to know what a 5 on 5 bolt pattern will fit, I know old 4x2 Chevy's, but new ones? or anything else????? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Re: HURRY!! What does a 5 on 4.75 wheel fit?????

4x2 Chevys are 5 on 5.

5 on 4.75 will fit S10 and will NOT fit a Jeep or Ford Ranger as those two vehicles are 5 on 4.5. Ford F150s in the past were 5 on 5.5 too so forget those.

Re: HURRY!! What does a 5 on 4.75 wheel fit?????

4x2 chevys were only 5 on 5 until 1999, then the 2wd trucks were 6 x 5.5 like the 4wds. The exception to this is the fullsize SUVs, which used 5x5 until 2000 (Tahoe Limited)

You're absolutely correct. Notice he was talking about older 2wds.

Currently all Chevy 1/2 tons are 6 on 5.5.

These won't fit Yota's or Furds or nothing else then? Is there any place that has a chart on a webpage or something to help out with fitment?? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

I use an old brake parts catolouge to look up bolt patterns, like wagner, raybestos, etc.Look up a rotor or drum and the bolt circle is usually listed next to the part number.I had to find 5 on 5 rims that were 14 inch for an old trailer--I found them on a 60 oldsmobile full size. After 2 hours of hard labor,I took em home--only to find the center hole was too small! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif I had to torch them out to fit--not exactly what had planned! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gifWhy cant there be more "standard"parts on cars and trucks?? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gifYou might be able too find a listing online for Kelsey-Hays or a similar company that sells rims. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes big Chevys were, along with big Buicks, Pontiac's & Oldsmobiles, but not Camaros.

No, they're 5 on 4.75" I do believe.

GM fullsize station wagons often had the 5-on-5" pattern. As do some of the corresponding fullsize cars - Impala, Caprice, Parisienne - especially if they have the "cop car" package.

Mid/late 70's Lincoln Mark IV or V and Thunderbird had the pattern also.

This is true, but camaros, corvettes, G-bodys, S-10s, and Astro/Safari all had the 5 x 4.75, or whatever the metric equivalent is. 2 and 4wd toyotas also use a 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern. I've seen late model Z71 rims on a slammed Toyota pickup before.

Na, thats not true either the 4x2 trucks the caprices, Impalas, the big buicks, the wagons, Caddies and the astro/safari were all 5x5, S-10s and the rest of the GM rear wheel drive cars were 5x4.75

astro/safari were all 5x5

I forgot that one! They certainly are. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
