HX35 Turbo Talk

I have a 2000 Dodge 2500 Cummins 5 speed that I have been using to move pulling a gooseneck trailer. pretty sure 3 weeks ago it dropped the turbo. I have been looking on eBay, Amazon, Rock Auto and other sites and prices are all over the place. of course, I am wanting to spend as little as possible but also looking for one that will last for a while.

anybody have any suggestions?

Check Industrial Injection in Salt Lake City. They had a slightly upgraded turbo that used to be cheaper than oem. Watch out online there's lots of China garbage turbos and imposter ones even.

short answer yes. I have thought about getting another one and then rebuilding this one and keeping it on the shelf

Without spending a grand easy, a good used hx35 replacement hovers around 300. Swap em and rebuild your original then sell the used one. Remans have become very expensive to the point you might as well just upgrade instead.
