I have a couple of thing's left to do to my M1009 and I am going to start on a hybrid/cab truck project using some of the spare parts I have laying around.I am going to use a 81 K-5 frame and a 88 Madza ext cab-cab.My question is this, what are you guy's doing for cab mount's.I thought of cutting the mounts off the Madza frame and fitting them to the blazer frame which would probably work, but is there an easier way. Some pics would be nice also.

If not exo (which I think is beyond Fugly) then build the cage and use urethane spring eye bushings under the cage's doubler plates. Then the cage is the structure and the body is sandwiched btwn the plates & along for the ride.

Or just mount it and the cage solid to the frame. Suggest load spreader plates where those tube meet the frame if you go that direction.
