Hyd fluid in hydro assist????

I'm redoin my hydro-assist before we go to Harlan next week and I'm putting a bigger cooler and a bigger res on trying to head off some overheating issues.I've been looking for some synthetic ps fluid and can't seem to find any at the local chain stores so what about runnin hyd fluid???? I'm running hydro-boost as well and was wondering if it would affect it.I'm assuming that in colder temps the hyd fluid would be slower to circulate and result in slow steering until it got warmed up.

I am running Kubota Super UDT hydro fluid in my Hydro Assist/Hydro Boost setup. No issues yet. I can't even get it to foam.

ps fluid is a form of hyd. oil, also hyd. oil comes in diff. weights. I run cenex quicklift hyd. oil in my power steering and transfer case. Check out there web site, it gives all the info. you need.

I started running Amsoil 5w30 tractor hyd. fluid in my hydro system. Lasted 1,000 of Vegas to Reno and still looked and smelled good. I would think a good quality tractor Hydro/Trans fluid would be good.

Also the GM brand fluid is a good fluid. I think it is still Dino blood but I used it for 6 years with great success.

Valvoline has a synthetic P/S fluid. I've gotten it at AutoZone a bunch of times

I use royal purple sythetic, just because it's in stock at mylocal parts store.
