hydo assist

i know there is a ton of post but how well is the hydro assist for a dd?
anyone have any bad experiences with hydro assist crossover and being a dd

the larger the hydro assist the slower the ram is. So if you want to DD your rig then you don't want a large ram so the steering isn't sluggish at speed.

Yes it can be used on a DD but you should probably stick with a 1.5" or 1.75" ram. 2" ram might be iffy unless you have a high volume pump or something.
