Hydraulic bell housing for sm465 diesel

If you have one and would like to sell it or trade it let me know.
I have a hydraulic bell housing from an sm465 but it is for a gas motor.
Just need the bell housing, have eveything else.

If you don't want to trade for the other bell housing I am parting an 87 suburban 1/2 ton 4x4, some parts left. Also have a few 2nd gen z28 parts, maybe we can work something out.

From what I have been reading the gas model has a smaller starter. The snout on the diesel starter is too big and hits the bell housing.

I am pretty sure this is correct, on my 700r4 the gas model aluminum flywheel cover won't fit on the diesel, it has a different cover also.

Worst comes to worst I guess I might be doing some grinding, would rather get the correct one.

There is no difference in the bellhousing. Only in the cover if anything. I've never had a problem putting a 6.2L in place of a 350 gas motor with the hydro bellhousing.
