Hydraulic clutch problems - again!

I am replacing my clutch slave cylinder - again. I was under my truck today and hit the clutch fork, inadvertantly pushing the piston into the bore. I got into the truck to start it, pushin the clutch, and it lurches forward. I try to shift and I can not get it into gear! I am sick of this set up. I have gone through a few M/C's and a few slave cylinders. I have not replaced the hose - yet, although I suspect it any day.

Is there any upgrade to these, or what can I do to keep this at least reliable. This is getting ridiculous.

I have bled both. There always seems to be a little drop of brake fluid dangling off the edge of the slave rubber boot. It is starting to piss me off because I am tired of replacing these!

The hose is original and rusted at the fitting end, but this started after I pushed the piston back in a little bit. It looks like it was leaking out the cylinder as the fluid drops are clean and coming off of that boot.

Pushing the piston into the bore shouldn't do anything other than move fluid back into the master.

If fluid is leaking out, air is getting in. Hydraulics don't work with even a little air in the line. You're symptoms of clutch lurching and not being able to get it into gear means there's air in the line. Master cylinders and slaves aren't known for wearing out very fast.

Thats what I thought too, but the hose is dry, and the slave is moist with the fluid dripping out the end. It did not seem right for it to be the hose.
