Well, I'm 99% sure that the problem I have isn't with air in the system. If I press on the pedal and try to hold the clutch fork there is like no air getting compressed. As soon as I press on the pressure plate there is no "give" either.
I ended up making a new rod that goes between the slave cylinder and the fork out of a 6" long 3/8" Grade 8 bolt I had. I made it 7/16" longer than the one the slave cylinder came with. I haven't tried it yet but I think it might've solved my problem. I know the initial play in the clutch pedal is down to 7/8-1".
