hydro assist bleeding?

I did it early this week. I tried using the bleeder and it was a pain. Ended up putting my hand vac pump on the hole in the resivore and pulling vac on it. Then pumped the pedal and repeat. Did it about 5 times and it worked great.

The brake pedal? On the steering I thought that you just turn lock to lock a few times with it jacked up in the air. How about bleeding the ram is that nessasary?

OH crap I was thinking hydro clutch, never mind I am the tarded.

PM sent Dustin, but think there is a procedure on PSC website also....

Dustin this worked for me, jack up the wheels so they still touch but most of the weight is off them. Take the cap off of the off, turn the wheels lock to lock several times. Don't fill the resi completely though or you will spill fluid out.

Actually several more like 20 or 30. There are other ways to do it to get stubborn air out but this has worked for me several times

i had to take my ram off and move it around to get all the air bubbles out.

Figured this out after thousands of times turning the wheels back and forth. I just disconnected it and let it flop

Depends on also, are you running a cooler or another resi? Or just the stock pump? If you are running a cooler they can be hard to bleed if they aren't mounted right. Make sure the lines on the ram are pointed up a bit also, just not pointing down or else they don't like to bleed. If you are running a stock style pump you might want to get a 1' piece of stiff radiator hose and hose clamp it onto the pump to get a little more space. Mine always spilled over when it got warm, 1' was just enough to keep it from happening. blazinzuk has mine now if you want a pic.

it sure is Jess. Also, in my case I have my line running in/out the bottom, and I let the cooler hang freely while bleeding the system, so it would fill from the top and exit from the top, to move any trapped air out of the system.
