I searched found nothing that relates.

My question is I have a box that the end is tapped well it has a new end on it, and the top where the slector shaft bolts in at is tapped. Which fitting make the ram go left and which one makes it go right.

Since were on the same subject where on the ram do the lines go as in relation to turning left or right

I don't feel like going outside right now otherwise i could tell you for sure. It's easy enough though to just hook the lines to the ram and with the ram disconnected turn the wheel and see if it will turn, if it does you're set if not then swap the lines.

I have to build the lines and its on a drivers drop so they are going to be long and not cheap I would prefer to do it once. :D

According to jkwoffroad the front round cap turns right and the top four bolt cover (five if you count the adjuster) for turning left.

Keep in mind that information is dependent on how you have the ram mounted.

The ram moves from what I have been able to figure out and what they told me from WTOffroad aka Redneck ram, pressure behind the shaft moves it out, pressure at the end of the shaft moves it in. Which makes sense.

I was actually going to ask this and just got my JKW cap today

I was assuming the ram would be mounted in front of the axle (off the tie rod and in the standard location). If you had the tie rod mounted on the hi-steer arms behind the axle, I think they would be reversed.

A quick and easy check for the ram is to put a blower nozzle in one of the ports and blow compressed air in there. With no load on the ram, a few PSI of air pressure is enough to get it to move back and forth.

Quoted for truth.

If the ram is mounted so that the "solid" end is at the diff and the "shaft" is facing the wheel then you need the line that would help with assist in turning left at the "solid" end of the ram. If the ram was mounted with the "solid" end at the wheel and the "shaft" is facing the center of the truck then the line that would assist in turning left would now be at the "shaft" end of the ram rather than the "solid" end.

Exactly. I wasn't talking about behind the axle or anything like that, just was direction you have it turned if mounted in the standard front tie rod setup. If it's mounted to where the shaft extends out it goes to the right then obviously it will want to turn to the right. Now leave the lines connected the same way but flip the ram 180 degrees...it is now extending to the left and wants to turn the wheels left.
