Hydro assist cap tapping

Is there anything i need to know about tapping my steering box top cap for hydro? i bought the DIY4x4 cap for the bottom already. thanks

Dont do it and tap the box instead




Its pretty simple. Just pull it and tap it. Do it right in the center of the little indent you can see on the inside of the cap.

drill size for 3/8" NPT is 37/64".
