I made these up, but I keep thinking it's just not going to be enough. On the axle side, I used the stock damper mount as a bottom, and welded a piece of 3/8x2 flat stock to make the top, then welded in a brace between them. I'm considering plating the bottom (stock mount) to double up the 3/16 to 3/8 and add more weld area. On the tie-rod, it's 2 pieces of 3/8x2 (guess what I had kicking around). One runs right to the middle of the tie-rod, and the upper has a 90 bend in it.

Think it's going to hold up, or just cause problems? Now is definately the time to do this different if I'm going to, axle is out of the truck.

I'd add a little more support to the tie rod one that is bent but the others should be fine. Kinda ghetto ( no offense ) but they will be alright. Better built then bought!
