Hydro Assist Ram

I am about to order and saw this ram on the surplus center site.

It i cheaper and a couple inches shorter than some of the others that are the same size stroke and bore. Any reasons not to get it? The specs appear to be the same on all the 2x8x1.125 rams.

most people just choose to run the "swivel eye" ended ones because it allows more room for movement on more then one plane, if you can get it to work for you go for it

yea having the heim ends would be nice but it doesn't seem like any of the bigger rams have that type of end.

this is the one i got, but looking back i should have got a 6 inch or so...either way, it was the heim-type "swivel eyes" but it is a little more expensive....as stated already, if you can get the other one to work for you for cheaper then go for it....good luck to you...
