Ok ok, beat to death I know, but I was wondering if anyone had found a ram that had the ends welded on so that the lines would be pointing up instead of having to cut and reweld or have the lines pointing forward.

Yeh I looked at the psc ram, but the thing has such a small rod (sounds so wrong). I have a feeling I would probably bend it as Im planning on running atleast 42's on this thing in a mostly offroad only capacity. If I hadta go to a 1.75 or 2" ram to get a bigger rod I would.

And 1ton, how is that mounted? Do you have a bigger pic? Looks like its on the spring plates from that pic.

I've seen a couple people fold 5/8" rams in half, one of the ORD guys at Blazer Bash a couple years ago and Steve Fox last year. I'll see if I can find a picture.

interesting.....I remember reading a bunch of posts where guys with .75 rods were having problems bending them.....

Heres all I have handy

I personally like these cyl better than any Ive seen.If you bend the rod in one of these you've got other problems and the hym ends are made on.I have ran with guy's runnin PSC and others hydro assist kits and my homebrew works just as good as there's.

I have a 8x1.75 (not sure on the rod size but its small) I bent it pretty easily.

I just finished this this week. 2" ram from rockstomper, D60, 44" boggers. I dont think this is going to bend. No issues driving on the street.

Updated pictures.

I run a 1.75 psc ram with a .75" rod. This is on a 1 ton K5 with a welded front with no issues. I have broken 2 front driveshafts from being bound up and never hurt the ram.

Im running a 2 inch ram and have no worries about it bending... Of course Im also running a 2inch 1/2 wall tierod

how often do you do street driving, i just looked into the 2" kit and am very interested... i just want to hear more about it

Chris, if that bent pic is from Andy's truck, then that is not a PSC ram. He used the old power assist setups from old fords, look at the shaft diameter.
