hydro assist steering

Yes.

All it takes is some dissasembly and drilling and tapping two holes (best way)

Or buying a endcap that has a npt bung like diy4x sells and removing and drilling/tapping the top cap were the sector shaft adjuster nut is

I used a DIY4X cap and tapped the top cap of the sector shaft on mine and am happy with it.

Do you already have crossover steering?

i have to find a 2WD steering box and get a pitman arm
then i can set up the new/used steering box for hydro

I am not convinced the dissasembly method is the best way. I used diy4x's end cap and drilled and tapped the top cap of my box, and it works just as fantastic as guys who run a PSC box that is drilled and tapped the sides. To me, it just causes more work to dissasemble and make sure you don't leave any metal shavings in there. But to each there own I guess

This is the same method I used with no issues for several years. The nice thing is that if you ever have to replace the steering box you don't have to go through the drilling and tapping again.

I've drilled/tapped a handful of boxes on the vehicle even. Only special thing required is a second 1/4 NPT tap ground down some since the first one will bottom out before you get a good about of thread taper tapped in. Can use grease and clean bit/tap a few times then once through turn wheel a little back and forth to flush out the rest along with a nail stuck to a magnet to poke into the hole. Never had any problems.
