I seem to always miss the ones being sold on here and I cant find anything locally without buying another truck. So I have a question for ya'll. Can the pass side hydro clutch setup work with a 90 Burb? The truck was originally equipped with a hydro clutch, but I robbed the parts to fix another truck and now realize how hard it is to find the bellhousings. I found a place that makes retro fit kits, but for Jeep slave cylinders, so I'm not sure if I want to spend the money without knowing it is going to work.

Anyways the reasonI ask about the pass side clutch is that a friend of mine is moving and is selling his 88 GMC p/u. It has the 4.3l v-6 with a 4-spd (not the 465) and I can use the clutch stuff, the serp setup and the tires/rims, but the clutch is what I'm really after. Will it work?

I wanna say that the slave will interfere with the drive shaft, but I'm not certain. I know I was looking at doing this but got side tracked with another project. Plus I think the mounting pattern for the transmission may be differnt (if it's even a seperate bell), or the bore register may be differnt.

If you have a mechanical bell housing, you can convert it to hydro specs without the kit. I know I've seen some threads about doing it.
