Anyone doing this? Been reading a lot on this, from what I have read this may cause problems at times when braking and turning at the same time. My solution is two separate PS pumps, one for each system. Opinions anyone?

I've got HB with hydro assist using a 2" ram. Pretty comparable to a typical full hydro as far as required volume I think. Anyway, it's just fine above idle using a single stock pump with the "flow mod". But at idle (TBI, so sub 800 rpm) and on the brakes, turning is an "experience". With 42" TSLs and a Detroit in the front, I prefer a gym for that kind of upper body work-out thank you very much. ;) My intended solution is much the same as your idea. I've got 2 complete remote reservoir pumps that I plan to use... someday...
